Our client Alkion Terminals, a European liquid bulk terminal storage company for chemicals, renewable fuels and petroleum products with their headoffice in Amsterdam, is looking for a Business Development Manager because of a strong growth by investments and a changing energy environment (energy transition).
They have built over the last years through a series of acquisitions a network of 10 terminals across France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and The Netherlands with a total capacity of close to 1.4 million m3 in storage capacity. Alkion continues to develop its ambitions through its buy – and build strategy with organic growth, brownfield expansions and selected M&A. Alkion employs today over 350 people with revenues exceeding €100M.
The Business Development Manager is someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on approach and ability to influence stakeholders at board level. Preferably with a background in chemicals and/or energy downstream, in a business / commercial development / M&A role or a management consultancy with exposure to energy and transaction projects.
We are looking for someone who is able to lead and support in business development and M&A and putting business cases together and lead and support in identification of growth opportunities in the energy transition relevant to Alkion.
